New Gun Owner Services
Our New Gun Owner Training covers a broad overview of topics ranging from what to consider before selecting a gun, gun ownership, basic safety, cleaning and storage, and some basic laws. This is the perfect introduction to gun ownership, whether you haven’t made your gun purchase yet or have recently joined the millions of new gun owners looking to defend themselves and their loved ones. This is not all inclusive of our NRA Certified Shooting Training, but it will cover a few of the bare essentials of safe handling and other fundamentals. Firearms Shooting Courses
Unfortunately, the knowledge and experience the majority of the public possesses regarding firearms is from only what they have seen on TV and in the action movies. This highly inaccurate and potentially dangerous “knowledge” can land a new or even an experienced gun owner in a hot legal mess or worse, serious injury to themselves and others, or death.
We have teamed up with an excellent NRA Certified Firearms Instructor from Resolute Tactical Training to help instill a foundation of proper and responsible gun handling to all of our customers. Guns have a “coolness factor” about them, but knowing how to handle them safely is paramount. Just owning a firearm is not enough. Register to attend our NRA Firearms Training courses below. These courses are perfect and essential for new gun owners, those planning on buying their first gun, and those wishing to brush up on their shooting skills.

Gun Shows & Exhibits
Defense Tactical Gear regularly attends gun shows every weekend throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. We even attend gun shows in the Raleigh, Greensboro, and Asheville areas in North Carolina. Several of our core show products include AR-15 components, 80% pistol kits, Glock parts, and Olights at every one of our shows.
We also use these venues as test beds to introduce new products as well, because we like to get first hand input from our customers before bringing them to our online storefront. Concierge Service
There is no possible way for us to offer every single gun product ever manufactured online. Our solution is to offer our exclusive DTG Concierge Service to our customers. How it works is when you are searching for a particular firearm related item, from a particular gun to something as simple as a magazine and beyond, just fill out our DTG Concierge Request form and provide detailed information.
Once you submit this information, we get to work searching our dealer networks for your item. When we are able to locate the item, we immediately contact you to arrange for your payment and the shipment of your item. It’s that simple. With DTG doing the leg work utilizing our dealer networks, you stand a much better chance of finding that certain item you’ve been looking for.
